Functional Skills Tutor – NG13 (Nottingham)
We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Functional Skills Tutor to support learners in the NG13 (Nottingham) area. This is a rewarding opportunity to help students develop essential Maths and English skills needed for further education, apprenticeships, and employment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver one-to-one or small group Functional Skills (Maths & English) sessions (Entry Level–Level 2)
* Plan and adapt lessons to suit individual learner needs
* Support learners in building confidence, independence, and practical skills
* Track progress and provide regular feedback and reports
* Prepare learners for Functional Skills assessments where required

Requirements:
* Experience tutoring or teaching Functional Skills, Maths, or English
* Good understanding of the Functional Skills curriculum
* Strong communication and behaviour management skills
* Patient, supportive, and flexible approach
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
* Right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
