Account Director – Award Winning Media Agency
Location: Bristol/Bath (Hybrid)
Salary: £45,000–£55,000 depending on experience
An award winning independent media agency is looking for an Account Director to join their growing team in the Bristol/Bath area. The Role
The Account Director will take the strategic lead across a range of client accounts, ensuring campaigns are delivered to the highest standard. This role involves developing media strategies, overseeing planning and implementation, and nurturing strong client relationships.
The ideal candidate will have broad experience across both traditional and digital channels, someone who is comfortable moving between TV, press, OOH, and online activity. You will be a confident communicator with strong planning skills and the ability to see the bigger picture while managing detail with precision.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead client accounts and ensure delivery of effective, integrated media campaigns
* Develop media strategies and plans that drive business results
* Manage budgets and oversee day to day client communication
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure work is on brief, on time, and on budget
* Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members
The Candidate
* Proven experience in a media agency environment (at Senior Account Manager or Account Director level)
* Strong knowledge of both offline and digital media channels
* Excellent planning and client management skills
* Commercially astute, with the ability to deliver value and insight
* A proactive, collaborative approach and genuine passion for media
