Due to continued growth and the strategic expansion of the leadership structure, the company is introducing a brand-new Regional Operations Manager (South) position. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role will lead day-to-day operations across the Southern region; driving operational excellence. We’re open to considering experienced professionals from a variety of backgrounds within the power generation/critical power sectors.
Package
* Salary: £50,000 - £65,000
* Car Allowance: £500 per month (hire car provided for first two months)
* Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 16:30

Responsibilities
* Provide strategic leadership across the Southern region, ensuring high-quality service delivery and operational excellence
* Work closely with Senior Management to develop and execute operational strategies aligned with company objectives
* Identify and implement operational improvements, best practices, and scalable process enhancements across the wider business
* Manage operations across key Southern offices, with Bristol acting as the primary hub
* Lead, develop, and support Regional Service Managers, Engineers, Apprentices, and Administrative staff
* Oversee regional performance including service/remedial quotations, engineer coordination, and spares management
* Optimise workflows and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with processes and standards
* Champion Health & Safety compliance and foster a strong safety-first culture
* Maintain key client relationships and resolve escalated issues effectively
* Coordinate resource planning to support continued regional growth
Requirements
* Proven experience in Operations, Service, or Project Management (minimum 4+ years preferred)
* Background within the standby generator industry or a closely related technical sector
* Demonstrated track record of implementing operational improvements and driving efficiency
* Strong leadership and people management skills with experience developing high-performing teams
* Solid understanding of service delivery models and contract negotiation
* Excellent organisational and time management skills within fast-paced environments
* Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
* Ability to obtain Police/SC Vetting clearance if required
