Key Responsibilities:
1. Conducting routine inspections and assessments of building fabric components.
2. Performing repairs and maintenance tasks on doors, windows, ceilings, floors, and other fabric elements.
3. Handling minor plumbing and carpentry tasks as necessary.
4. Responding promptly to fabric-related issues and emergencies.
5. Collaborating with other team members to coordinate maintenance schedules and tasks.
6. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
7. Proven experience as a Fabric Engineer or similar role in facilities management.
8. NVQ / City & Guilds qualification in carpentry, plumbing, painting & decorating would be beneficial
9. Strong knowledge of building fabric materials and maintenance techniques.
10. Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
11. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
12. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
13. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
14. Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
