Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide essential classroom support, ensuring pupils remain focused and engaged during tasks.
• Run small-group phonic, reading, and mathematics workshops using structured toolkits.
• Work closely with specific children requiring 1:1 behavioural or learning support (SEND).
• Help prepare interactive lesson materials, learning resources, and seasonal displays.
• Ensure a safe, supportive environment during outdoor play, lunch, and school assemblies.
• Support the class teacher with general administrative duties and student progress logging.

Requirements for the Role

• Prior experience supporting children, ideally in an educational, care, or coaching environment.
• Good foundational qualifications (GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Mathematics).
• A patient, warm, and highly resilient personality capable of dealing with varied learning needs.
• An Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or readiness to undergo a check).
• Strong team player skills with a proactive "can-do" approach to daily school life.
