Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative leader with strong curriculum understanding to join us as Head of Business Studies and Economics.
The successful applicant will be supported by the SLT Line Manager, who is also the Director of Sixth Form. You will provide strategic leadership to your team, focusing on improving teaching, curriculum design, and student progress across the department. This role will prepare candidates for future senior leadership positions.
Reporting directly to the SLT Line Manager, you will have a varied, dynamic, and strategic role. As Head of Business Studies and Economics, you will lead the provision of all areas of the Business Department, including GCSE, Cambridge National, BTEC Level 3, and A-Level Business and Economics.
