We are working with a respected main dealer in Braintree that is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Mechanicto join their busy team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified technician to secure a stable and rewarding career, with excellent earnings and development potential. Youll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicle makes and models to the highest standards, using the latest diagnostic tools and repair techniques.
Mechanic Benefits:
* Basic salary up to £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)
* £1,500 annual bonus paid in November
* £6,000 quarterly bonus paid in advance
* Note: This quarterly bonus is subject to adjustment if there is excessive sickness during the quarter already paid for.
* Overall earnings:
* Level 3 Mechanic and MOT Tester:£36,000 per annum
* Level 3Mechanic (non-MOT):£35,000 per annum
* Additional individual bonus based on hours sold

Mechanic Key Responsibilities:
* Diagnose and repair faults in engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems
* Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and safety checks
* Use diagnostic equipment and software to identify complex issues efficiently
* Record all work completed and parts used accurately
* Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers regarding required work
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
* Keep up to date with the latest vehicle technologies and best practices
What We're Looking For:
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
* Minimum 1 year of experience as a technician
* Proficient with diagnostic tools and software
* Strong technical and mechanical skills
* Great communication and a team-focused attitude
* Full UK driving licence
