The Role
As a Change Manager, you will be playing a key role in the development of QinetiQ as a business and the future state we are driving towards.
Day-to-day, you’ll manage the delivery of change management workstreams and activities within the Transformation Programme. This includes responsibility for developing and implementing change management plans to support the successful adoption of behaviours and embedding the changes across QinetiQ’s business and in partnership with Sectors and Functions.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Developing and implementing change management plans to support the successful adoption of new behaviours and embedding changes across QinetiQ’s business
2. Supporting the development of the change management approach and toolkit
3. Conducting change impact assessments to identify potential risks, resistance, and areas requiring intervention or additional support
4. Collaborating with stakeholders from Functions and Sectors to design and implement effective change management plans that includes all project impacts for assigned audience groups / workstreams
5. Developing and implementing change interventions focused on shifting behaviours and realising the impact of the changes
6. Identifying risks and opportunities that may impact or enhance the success of transformation initiatives and develop risk management strategies
Essential experience of the Change Manager:
7. Proven track record in building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders across different countries and areas of the business
8. Analytical, strategic thinking, and project management capabilities to develop and execute comprehensive change management plans
9. Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
10. Understanding of the Defence and Security industry (or similar) and the issues and opportunities it faces in areas such as technology, data, and business change, are desirabl
Essential qualifications for the Change Manager:
11. Degree educated or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field
12. Professional certifications in change management (e.g., APMG Prosci, CMI) are desirable

This role is 37 hours per week based at Farnborough. Travel to other QinetiQ sites will be expected. This role is a 6-month FTC.
