The Role
An opportunity has arisen for an Office Administrator to join a busy and professional organisation in a varied support role. This position plays a key part in keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly by providing administrative support across multiple functions. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and internal teams, ensuring records are accurate, systems are maintained, and processes are followed efficiently. The role suits someone highly organised, detail-focused, and comfortable working in a structured environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Support recruitment administration, including preparing role information and onboarding documentation.

* Coordinate new starter processes, inductions, and training arrangements.

* Maintain accurate employee records, including status changes and key documentation.

* Assist with performance review scheduling and documentation.

* Manage absence records, timekeeping documentation, and return-to-work paperwork.

* Maintain holiday records and internal trackers.

* Raise and process purchase and sales orders as required.

* Provide general administrative support to finance and operations teams when needed.

* Maintain data security, GDPR compliance, and document control for electronic and paper records.

* Manage filing systems, archiving, and secure disposal of records.

* Coordinate diaries, meetings, travel, and accommodation.

* Support IT and telephone systems, liaising with external providers when issues arise.

* Liaise with facilities suppliers and service contractors to ensure smooth office operations.

The Candidate
Previous experience in an office administration or support role.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced or technical environment.

Confident IT user with good system and data handling skills.

Highly organised with strong attention to detail.

Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.

Basic finance or bookkeeping knowledge would be an advantage but is not essential.

Salary
£25,000 – £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
