The Private Client team is a key pillar of the firm’s success, handling a large volume of high-calibre work and serves a loyal client base made up of business owners, retirees, landed families, and high-net-worth individuals throughout Somerset and the wider South West.The firm’s culture is collaborative and down-to-earth, with an emphasis on technical excellence and local presence over corporate hierarchy. The Private Client team, based primarily in Wells, works closely with accountants, IFAs, surveyors, and rural professionals to deliver joined-up advice, often supporting families across multiple generations.In this role, you’ll manage a diverse portfolio of private client matters with autonomy and support. This will include drafting complex wills, establishing lifetime trusts, filing annual trust tax returns, advising on inheritance tax strategies, and administering estates. You'll also act on behalf of clients under Lasting Powers of Attorney, covering both property and financial affairs as well as health and welfare concerns.
