Salary: £45,000 - 70,000 per year Requirements: Experience in Azure and Microsoft 365 security Solid grounding in infrastructure and network principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VLANs) Knowledge of Active Directory / Entra ID Experience with server hardening and patching Familiarity with security tooling Exposure to frameworks such as ISO27001, Cyber Essentials Plus or OWASP Azure certifications (Security Engineer Associate, Solutions Architect, etc.) or broader security certifications such as CISSP, CISM or Security Responsibilities: Review and remediate Microsoft 365 security configurations and Azure landing zones Monitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts from various tools Support incident response and disaster recovery processes Harden Windows Server (2019 onwards) and Azure environments in line with best practice Monitor network security using a range of security and monitoring tools Work alongside infrastructure colleagues to securely administer network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls Support vulnerability remediation following penetration testing and audit findings Contribute to infrastructure projects, acting as technical lead on cloud migration initiatives such as Azure Site Recovery Maintain clear documentation aligned to internal policies and external compliance standards Technologies: Active Directory Architect Azure Cloud Hardware Support Microsoft 365 Network OWASP Security TCP/IP Windows Office 365 DevOps More: We are a well-established and highly regarded business looking to engage an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in either Edinburgh or Glasgow.
