We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Lead QA / Test Manager to join our team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead and coordinate QA and testing efforts across several critical healthcare technology domains, including: Secondary care systems Diagnostics Electronic Patient Records (EPR) Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) PACS/RIS (Imaging and Radiology Systems) Your work will directly impact the quality of care we provide to patients and the tools our staff rely on every day. You should have: Experience in most of the following healthcare areas: Secondary, Diagnostics, EPR, LIMS, PACS & RIS. Demonstrable knowledge and experience in QA/testing and supporting others in the same. Proven experience line managing, mentoring and coaching QA Managers and QA Analysts. Experience recruiting the best QA Managers & QA Analysts. Experience matrix-managing multi-disciplinary, cross-functional teams, working with a wide variety of stakeholders including product owners, delivery managers, architects and end-users. Experience of balancing multiple priorities, whilst dealing with ambiguity. Experience in capacity management of team members. Deep understanding of software testing methodologies including functional, regression and performance testing. Experience of communicating and documenting test strategies. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a sharp attention to detail that ensures high-quality outcomes. You might have: Solid understanding of HL7 messaging Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Playwright). Experience working in both agile and waterfall teams. Experience monitoring and reporting on QA metrics. Knowledge of compliance standards relevant to the healthcare industry Experience working with overseas partners.
