We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a well-established and reputable hospitality business based in Blackburn on a temporary basis.This is a great opportunity for someone who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment and support the finance function during a busy period.
This position is offered on a 2-month temporary basis to provide additional support during a busy period, with a strong possibility of extension for the right candidate. It’s an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys stepping into a role and making an immediate impact.
Please note: Experience using Sage Intacct and Sage 50 is Essential.
Your new role
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supporting the transition from Sage 50 to Sage Intacct, including data migration, system checks and ensuring accuracy across both platforms
2. Processing purchase and sales invoices
3. Bank reconciliations
4. Assisting with month-end processes
5. Maintaining accurate financial records
6. Supporting the wider finance team with day-to-day accounting tasks
7. Data entry and ledger maintenance
What you'll need to succeed
8. Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar role
9. Experience using Sage Intacct and Sage 50 is Essential
10. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
11. Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines
12. Goodmunication skills and a proactive approach
