Deductions Analyst
Leeds / Hybrid – 3 days in the office per week
About the role
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start or develop a career in finance and accounting. Joining our Deductions team within Transactional Finance, you'll be part of a fast-paced, high-volume environment where accuracy, organisation, and a positive attitude are key. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal role for someone keen to learn and grow in this area.
Key responsibilities
1. Supporting the processing of customer deductions from start to finish for your allocated regions
2. Assisting with the investigation and resolution of deductions, following agreed processes
3. Logging, tracking, and updating deduction and dispute information accurately
4. Liaising with internal teams to gather information and support resolution
5. Producing regular reports and summaries on deductions activity
6. Contributing ideas to improve processes and ways of working
7. Working collaboratively with the wider team to meet shared deadlines
Skills and attributes we're looking for
8. A strong interest in starting a career in finance, accounting, or business operations
9. High attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks
10. Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
11. Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, or a willingness to learn quickly
12. Clear communication skills and a professional approach
13. A positive, proactive mindset and eagerness to learn
