The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Barnsley area. We are looking for several dedicated van drivers to join the team on nights.
Hours: Shifts across Monday to Sunday, midnight to 2am start times (approximately 8-10 hours shifts).
Job Type: Long term ongoing.
The role:
1. Pick up the van from our client’s site and drive to our client’s customer location.
2. Driver will be required to load the van with the designated items and the vehicle will be sealed after loading (a photograph of the interior will be taken).
3. Following this, driver will then commute to one of our client’s depots and unload the van under supervision, documenting the unloaded items by taking a photo of the interior.
4. Returning to the original depot empty.
5. Occasionally doing collection runs as required.
Requirements:
6. A valid UK driver’s license.
7. Have no more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
8. Ability to pass a driving assessment.
9. Strong communication and customer service skills.
10. Physical ability to manually load and unload vehicles.
11. Flexibility to work the available shifts, including weekends.
12. Excellent time management and organisational skills.
13. Be accustomed to working unsociable hours.
