Information Governance Officer
Location: Rosehill House, Foresterhill site, Aberdeen.
Hours: Full Time, 37 hours per week.
Grade Band: 6 – £41,608 – £50,702 per annum.
Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Information Governance Officer working within the Information Governance Team of NHS Grampian, supporting the delivery of essential services across the region.
Responsibilities
* Support the Information Governance Team in delivering essential service to NHS Grampian.
* Work with the Senior Information Governance Manager to implement and monitor the Health Board’s information governance programme.
* Assist in responding to access to information requests made under information rights legislation.
* Support delivery of statutory assurance work.
* Document and monitor information governance requirements around organisational change.
Qualifications
* Degree-level education in Records Management, Information Management, law or comparable qualification; or equivalent experience.
* Highly motivated with excellent organisational skills.
* Effective communicator with a record of supporting information rights requests and information governance in organisational change contexts.
