Job Purpose
We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Communications, Marketing and Events Assistant. Reporting to the Communications and Marketing Manager, the successful applicant will play a crucial part in planning and executing our communication and marketing strategies, helping to elevate our brand presence and effectively engage with our target audiences.
As our Communications, Marketing and Events Assistant, you'll have the chance to collaborate with a diverse team of established professionals, contribute your innovative ideas, and work across a wide variety of communication and marketing, as well as event activities. Responsibilities
Content Creation: Take the lead in shaping and planning captivating visual content through creative ideas and implementation, to support our marketing campaigns and initiatives, highlighting ETZ’s impact and delivery.
Social Media and Campaign Execution: Manage social media platforms, with a focus on LinkedIn, curating content, scheduling posts, paid campaigns engaging with our audience to build and maintain our online presence.
Digital Platform Oversight: Oversee our website and digital presence to ensure all content is up-to-date, user friendly, and aligned with our brand identity and messaging.
Messaging and Brand: Help ensure consistency in brand messaging across all communication channels, reinforcing our brand identity and values in all marketing materials and interactions.
Project Coordination: Deliver materials and campaigns for various projects, assisting in the development and execution of communication and marketing strategies.
Design and Creativity: We are looking for a creative mind and thinker who can utilise digital tools to design marketing materials, presentations, and other collateral that effectively communicate our brand message.
Event Organisation: Supporting the Communications and Marketing Manager and wider team with organising and managing events, from planning and setup to content creation and execution, as well as interacting with attendees.
Enquiries and Direct Mail Campaigns: Manage enquiries from various channels and coordinate direct mail campaigns to reach our target audience effectively.
Reporting and Analytics: Report on website performance and campaign delivery, manage metrics and provide insight on growth opportunities.
Desired Qualifications:
* Degree educated in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
* 1-2 years of previous experience working in a marketing or communications role.
* Proven experience in content creation, social media management, and digital marketing.
* Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
* Proficient in design tools such as Canva.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Full Clean UK Driving Licence.

Flexibility will be required within the role including traveling to different locations and being adaptable with working hours on occasion to suit the organisation’s activity.
