A globally renowned manufacturer of automation equipment is now seeking a HSE Officer to assist with the day-to-day management of the HSE function within the business
With a focus on best practice and continuous improvement, the new HSE Officer will be joining a well-established team. This is a newly created position due to continued company growth, into a business that is constantly striving to be the market leader
HSE Officer Responsibilities:
To provide expert, professional health and safety advice, guidance, and support to all interested parties.
To support the company in ensuring compliance with all relevant legislative and other requirements inclusive of our ISO certified HSE Management Systems.
Review LOLER & PUWER statutory inspections, and action open issues with correct priority
Work in collaboration with operational departments to ensure all activities have been adequately risk assessed, with safe systems of work been agreed, communicated, and understood.
Support operational departments in ensuring COSHH compliance including the maintenance of the company COSHH register.
Assist with and/or complete regular formal safety inspections and internal audits as required across all depots and field-based operationsKnowledge, Skills & Abilities of a HSE Officer
3+ years' experience in a similar role.
A formally recognised Health and Safety qualification, such as the NEBOSH National General Certificate as a minimum.
