Job Title: Hatchery Hygiene Operative Reporting to: Hatchery Manager Overall aim of the Job: To clean and disinfect vehicles, trailers and hatchery equipment. Key tasks within the job: • Pressure washing interior of trailers including fans, removing the floor and roof covers and cleaning all filters. • Emptying day old chick crates from lorries. • Pressure washing exterior of trailer and unit. • All cleaning to involve use of chemicals to ensure biosecurity is maintained. • Up to 4 units and trailers to be emptied and cleaned per day. • Moving units and trailers on and off the loading bays and around the yard.
