Capgemini is hiring a Life Sciences leader in the UK MALS (Manufacturing, Automotive & Life Sciences) market unit. The role will drive the digital agenda for our clients and their customers, setting a visionary direction, maximising market opportunity, and expanding the team.
Role
You’ll help drive our strategy, shape our offers, develop our capability within the Life Science segment of the MALS market unit and lead sales and delivery work with new and existing clients.
* Business development – utilising the organisation’s broader pre-existing relationships (ideally at GSK or AstraZeneca) and your own network to drive our ambition to treble revenues in the sector over the next 2 years.
* Define the target strategy and composition of the team, recruit consultants, and mentor other team members to ensure their effective development.
* Engage with existing and potential clients, developing relationships with senior members of the Life Sciences sector.
* Drive consulting and technology offerings to new and existing clients, ensuring offerings are relevant and timely.
* Be an authority and thought leader.
* Ensure effective delivery and timely completion of projects in alignment with commercial goals.
* Provide a market presence to initiate, manage and maintain board/senior management relationships.
* Understand and scope client challenges and sell & deliver top‑tier consulting and technology‑enabled transformation work.
Your Skills And Experience
You’ll bring deep Life Sciences sector expertise with experience across one or more parts of the pharma value chain. Strong personal and communication skills, drive, determination, influencing ability, and professionalism are required. Experience of delivering end‑to‑end P&L for an account or sector is expected.
Your Security Clearance
Successful appointment requires Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks and may include further checks if the candidate has resided outside the UK within the last 3 years.
