Base Salary of
£23,402
(35 hours per week). We value your growth! Enjoy annual salary increments:
Year 2: £23,984 Year 3: £24,436 Year 4: £24,890

As a PCO, you will work collaboratively to provide safe and secure escorting and custody services to detainees, focusing on their physical and mental wellbeing. Your key responsibilities will include: Escorting defendants to and from courtrooms, ensuring their safety at all times. Monitoring detainees during court sessions to maintain security. Handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. Ensuring detainees have access to food and drink, catering to dietary needs. Monitoring the health of detainees and reporting concerns. Maintaining court security and responding to incidents. Accurately completing paperwork and collaborating with court staff and law enforcement. What You Need

You will receive comprehensive training over 5.5 weeks, so prior experience is not essential. Ideally, you should have: A valid driver's license. All roles are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, and employment offers are subject to Ministry of Justice Enhanced Level 2 checks. This role is not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. Candidates must meet specific eligibility criteria, including: At least two years remaining on your current visa.
