We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated front end application developer to play a role on a greenfield multiyear transformation program aimed at modernizing and scaling the electronic FX Options Trading Business
Responsibilities:
1. Be part of a team of Front End engineers in the design and development of the electronic FX Options Trading Platform specializing in:RFQ (Request for Quote) client or sales to trader workflowStreaming pricesVolatility Surface and other market data managementStructured Product Pricing workbench
2. Collaborate with a global team of developers, quants and traders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions
3. Leverage your expertise in Typescript & React to build high-performance, scalable applications
4. Create intuitive and responsive React web UIs that enhance user experience
5. Contribute to the continuous improvement of development, deployment and testing processes
Required Skills:
6. Advanced knowledge in React UI/UX development with TypeScript (Angular or experience would also be considered)
7. Solid understanding of inter-application communication using REST, WebSocket or middleware like Solace/Kafka/Tibco
8. Proficiency in CI/CD, application resiliency, testing, profiling, and telemetry
Nice to have:
9. Familiarity with OpenFin, Interop or other containerized front end frameworks
10. Java, or Python experience
11. Kubernetes
12. Experience working in finance is a plus, but not required
