A highly regarded law firm based in Bexleyheath is looking to recruit a skilled Residential Conveyancing Solicitor/Conveyancer to join their CQS-accredited conveyancing department. This is an excellent opportunity for a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor/Conveyancer to work within a supportive, well-established team, handling a broad range of residential property matters.
The successful Residential Conveyancing Solicitor/Conveyancer will manage a high-volume caseload of residential transactions, including sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity. Experience with new build transactions and shared ownership schemes would be advantageous. This position would suit a proactive and detail-oriented Residential Conveyancing Solicitor/Conveyancer who is confident using case management systems and the Land Registry Portal.
The Residential Conveyancing Solicitor/Conveyancer’s role
As a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor/Conveyancer, you will be responsible for running your own caseload from instruction through to post-completion, ensuring a smooth and efficient service for clients. You will work closely with the wider conveyancing team to maintain the firm’s high standards and uphold compliance procedures.
You will be expected to remain calm under pressure, manage competing deadlines, and support junior colleagues when needed, contributing positively to the team environment.
The Residential Conveyancing Solicitor/Conveyancer
To be successful in this Residential Conveyancing Solicitor/Conveyancer role, you should have:
* A qualification as a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive with a minimum of 2 years’ residential conveyancing experience
* A proven ability to manage a busy caseload independently
* Knowledge of freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity
* Familiarity with new build and shared ownership transactions (preferred)
* Strong IT skills, including use of case management systems and Land Registry Portal
* A conscientious and team-focused approach
