Your new role
As BIM Manager, you will take a leading role in shaping and implementing the organisation’s BIM Strategy, ensuring alignment with ISO 19650 and the wider UK BIM Framework. You will oversee BIM standards, digital workflows and informationernance across the full project lifecycle, working closely with design teams, project delivery teams, engineers, contractors and client stakeholders.
You will guide the development and coordination of key BIM documentation, including BEPs, EIRs, MPDTs and AIRs, while also managing model federation, clash detection and overall digital quality assurance. Your remit will include maintaining CDE processes, supporting the wider business in digital adoption, and leading BIM‑focused engagement sessions internally and externally. You will also play an important role in auditing BIM processes, managing information delivery plans, and ensuring seamless digital collaboration across disciplines.
This role provides the chance to explore emerging technology, from 4D BIM and AR/VR tools to advanced visualisation platforms, contributing meaningfully to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. You will be a visible and trusted advisor who influences how digital construction is embedded across the organisation.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you will bring extensive experience in BIM Management or Digital Delivery within the UK market, supported by a strong understanding of ISO 19650 standards and information management principles. Your background will include hands‑on experience with BIM authoring and collaboration tools, alongside a deep appreciation for quality assurance, data accuracy and design coordination.
You will demonstrate strongmunication and leadership capability, the confidence to engage with varied stakeholders, and the ability to influence decision‑making across projects and teams. A proactive mindset, the desire to innovate and a genuine passion for BIM and Digital Construction will be essential, as will the ability to help others embrace digital ways of working.
