About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced *HGV Mechanic / Technician* to join our busy and growing workshop team. This is a full-time, permanent position with consistent overtime available for those looking to maximise earnings.
You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of heavy goods vehicles and trailers, ensuring they are safe, compliant, and roadworthy at all times.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs
* Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment
* Conduct MOT preparation and inspections
* Complete all paperwork and job records accurately
* Ensure all work meets DVSA standards
* Respond to breakdowns when required (overtime rates apply)
Working Hours
* Monday to Friday
* Overtime available on evenings and weekends
Salary & Benefits
* £42,000 – £55,000 (depending on experience)

Requirements
* Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic / Technician
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
* Full UK driving licence (Class 1 or 2 desirable)
* Good work ethic and ability to work independently
