Overview

An opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a Senior Clinical Fellow within Trauma, Orthopaedic and Plastic Surgery at Salford Royal Hospital.

This is a Fixed term post which will provide an opportunity for the appointee to learn and develop a wide range of sub speciality skills in the management of Orthopaedics.


Key Responsibilities

* The appointee will be expected to participate fully in the provision of Major Trauma Hospital services to the residents of Salford.
* Provide 10 PA’s per week (9 PA’s DCC and 1 SPA) which will include outpatient clinics, elective operating theatre lists, major trauma, administration and on call.
* Based at Salford Royal Hospital with elective lists predominantly at Fairfield General Hospital and Rochdale Infirmary.
* Be given active support with basic science and clinical research / audit and be expected to present and publish this work as appropriate.


Qualifications

* Full registration with the GMC and continue to hold a Licence to Practice.
