Accounts Assistant - Legal Sector
Central London
Salary up to £35,000 + Hybrid Working (2-3 days from home)
CV Screen is recruiting for an Accounts Assistant, ideally with previous experience working within the legal sector, to join a fantastic legal firm based in Central London. You will be joining a friendly, rapidly growing business who are committed to providing exceptional service to their clients.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
Process client and office payments per SRA rules
Allocate funds and monitor client balances
Prepare and issue client bills
Record disbursements and recoverable expenses
Handle credit notes and cost transfers
Ensure VAT and regulatory compliance
Support Credit Control with overdue invoices
Maintain ledgers
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules and legal accounting practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Previous experience in a law firm or professional services environment is desirable.
SALARY & BENEFITS:
Salary up to £35,000 depending on experience.
Hybrid working - 3 days from home
