Working for one of the largest employers in Wales, an exciting management opportunity exists for a dedicated and experienced individual to join the motivated team within the Parks, Sport and Harbour Authority Service.
This role provides technical and operational support to grounds maintenance teams to ensure effective service delivery. Responsibilities include site inspections, responding to enquiries, procurement, and managing the section 154 database. The role involves planning and delivering grounds maintenance operations through resource deployment, programming, coordinating with stakeholders, and managing external works safely. The candidate must work within budgets and resources to ensure efficient service for stakeholders and the public in Cardiff’s parks and open spaces.
What We Are Looking For From You
You should have excellent organizational skills, maintain sound governance with detailed records, and be capable of planning, programming, and delivering objectives effectively.
Strong interpretational and communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential. You must be able to identify solutions and problem-solve across a range of issues and stakeholders.
The successful candidate will demonstrate teamwork, willingness to support others, drive change, and be committed to meeting service objectives.
