We are working on behalf of our client to recruit a skilled Panel Beater for their busy operation in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Panel Beater to join a reputable team and work on a variety of commercial vehicle repairs.

Duties of this Panel Beater role:
14. Repair and straighten damaged panels on heavy trucks and commercial vans
15. Write up comprehensive job sheets detailing repair work and required parts
16. Work closely with the bodyshop team to ensure repairs meet quality standards
17. Prepare vehicles for spraying, stripping, and rebuilding as required
18. Assist in vehicle assessments and provide technical expertise during repairs
19. Maintain accurate records of work completed and ensure jobs are completed within estimated times
20. Work alongside a team of experienced technicians and apprentices to support ongoing workflow
Requirements for this Panel Beater role:
21. Proven experience as a Panel Beater within the commercial vehicle sector
22. Knowledge of heavy truck and van body repairs
23. Ability to read and interpret job sheets and technical diagrams
24. Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems is highly desirable
25. Clean driving licence is essential; HGV licence is not a necessity but preferred
26. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy workshop environment
27. Good organisational skills and attention to detail
28. Own tools are preferred; supply of larger tools will be provided
