Nursery Nurse

Salary for Nursery Nurse up to £29,640 per annum.

About Our Hitchin Nursery
Located near Hitchin town centre, our nursery cares for over 100 children and features dedicated gardens for each age group, plus an allotment for outdoor learning. We offer on‑site parking and are a short walk from the train station and local bus routes. Our supportive team promotes professional growth and provides strong career development opportunities.

Essential Qualifications and Experience
* Suitable qualifications: an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent
* Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS, and the ability to refer to the EYFS Framework when planning activities
* Awareness of the role of planning, observation and keeping records when caring for nursery‑aged children
* Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and meeting their needs
* A satisfactory Enhanced DBS check
