👨👩👧👦 Children & Family Team Manager
📍 Location: Cheltenham
🕘 Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00
💷 Pay: Up to £47.00 per hour (Umbrella)
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Team Manager to join our Children & Families Team in Cheltenham. You will lead, manage, and be accountable for a team of Social Workers, ensuring the delivery of statutory duties and the continuous improvement of services for children, young people, and families.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Lead and supervise a dedicated team of Social Workers
✅ Ensure high-quality safeguarding practice across the team
✅ Oversee court work and manage cases involving Child Protection (CP), Children in Need (CIN), and Children in Care (CIC)
✅ Quality assure assessments, plans, and reports
✅ Foster team cohesion through balanced office and home working arrangements
✅ Support and develop your team through supervision and guidance
✅ Ensure all children are seen face-to-face unless COVID confirmed
✅ Manage resources including providing laptops and smartphones for remote working
