What You’ll Be Doing
* Designing and supporting secure infrastructure for complex, high-availability platforms.
* Bridging IT and OT environments to keep mission-critical systems running smoothly.
* Managing and optimising Windows Server and Red Hat Linux estates.
* Building and maintaining virtualised environments using VMware and Hyper-V.
* Overseeing IT assets, with automated monitoring and reporting baked in.
* Embedding cyber best practice, running vulnerability assessments, and meeting strict compliance standards.
Main Skills Needed
* Solid background in infrastructure engineering or systems administration.
* Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server and Red Hat Linux.
* Proven use of virtualisation technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
* Good understanding of cybersecurity, vulnerability management, and secure design.
* Exposure to regulated or high-assurance environments (defence experience a plus).
* Experience with asset management and monitoring/automation tools.
