About the Role
We are seeking to expand our dedicated team by appointing a Development Worker with a focus on enhancing our online presence and digital marketing. This role is integral to promoting our adult learning courses and services to individuals and community groups, identifying learning needs, and supporting the development of inclusive educational programmes.
The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening our digital outreach. Responsibilities will include:
* Managing and developing our social media platforms and mailing lists
* Creating and publishing engaging digital content
* Contributing to the enhancement of our website and online resources
* Collaborating with internal colleagues and external partners to promote ACL
Key Requirements
We are looking for a proactive and creative individual who can work independently and contribute meaningfully to our team. The ideal candidate will possess:
* A good understanding of social media as a marketing tool, ideally within an educational context
* Experience using digital design and marketing software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Publisher, and Photoshop
* The ability to engage effectively with adult learners and diverse community groups and partnerships
* Knowledge of adult learning programmes and experience in promoting educational opportunities to communities
* Familiarity with course enrolment, registration processes, and related administrative tasks to support curriculum development
* The flexibility to travel independently across wider areas of Warwickshire to support outreach and engagement activities
