Senior Electrical Engineer Bristol (hybrid) £48,000 - £53,000 + Bonus and Benefits A global advanced engineering and technology organisation is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary product development team supporting the design and customisation of complex engineered products. This role will focus on the design and development of electrical modules and sub-assemblies, supporting product modifications, documentation, validation, and technical delivery throughout the product development lifecycle. Key responsibilities include:
* Designing and developing electrical sub-assemblies and systems
* Producing detailed engineering documentation, drawings, and BOMs
* Supporting product customisation and development projects
* Verifying designs through calculation and testing
* Collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver projects to quality, cost, and timescale targets
Experience required
* An electrical engineering degree or similar qualification
* Experience within product development or engineering design environments
* Knowledge of design for manufacture/assembly
* Experience using CAD and engineering drawing tools
* Understanding of schematics, system diagrams, or P&IDs
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
