About you
* Proven experience processing payroll within medium to large organisations
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, Vlookups, and graphs
* Good understanding of employment law, statutory entitlements, and payroll legislation
* Demonstrated confidentiality and data protection awareness
What you'll do
* Process weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly payrolls accurately and on time
* Ensure compliance with statutory legislation and company policies
* Review payroll data, including pay elements, deductions, and statutory payments
* Support payroll reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
* Maintain employee holiday, absence, and leave records
* Assist with payroll system improvements and project implementations
* Generate payroll reports and respond to employee queries promptly
* Support the Time and Attendance system and provide training where needed
* Contribute to continuous process improvements to optimise efficiency and accuracy
