One of our client primary schools is looking for a Deputy Pre-School Manager which will be alongside another role - the Manager of the Breakfast Club & After School Club About the role The role is split into 2 parts; Deputy Pre-School Manager and Manager of the Breakfast Club & After School Club. The Deputy Pre-School Manager would be working on a rota basis with a job share between 9.00 am and 3.00 pm. This post will also require the post holder to act as the Manager when the Manager is on their lunch break or is absent. This will be working with 3/4 year olds. Manager of the Breakfast Club & After School Club – working on a rota basis within a job share between 7.45 am and 9.00 am, then 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm. This will be working with 3 to 11 year olds. The total hours required is 37 hours – working on a two weeks rota basis of early start/late finish in liaison with the other job share partner, term time only, plus working the remaining school training days for this academic year. The role is a permanent role starting as soon as possible About the school The Pre-School is attached to a lovely, vibrant, large primary school in Cambourne, Cambridgeshire. Requirements To be considered for the role of Deputy Pre-school Manager and Breakfast Club Manager you will: NVQ level 3 qualification in childcare 2 years supervisory experience within an early years setting Key responsibilities As Deputy Pre-school Manager and Breakfast Club Manager you will be responsible for: Formulating and meeting the aims and objectives of the pre-school Implementing the policies through which they shall be achieved; Managing staff and resources to that end; and Monitoring progress towards their achievement; What the school offer In return, the school can offer the successful candidate: Salary £13 to £14 per hour Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
