The successful candidate will be reliable, friendly and have good communication skills. They will work as part of a team to ensure lunchtimes are safe and enjoyable and will be expected to engage in various activities with the children. The postholder will be required to undertake a variety of tasks which include working outside on the school field/playground to encourage positive and active play, this could include refereeing football, basketball, netball or other team games, supervising activities such as go-karting, den building, role-playing, colouring, crafting or gym activities.
There will also be a requirement to work on a rota system with colleagues to help prepare the hall for lunches, support pupils whilst they eat their lunch and help clear the hall at the end of service.
