About the Telephone Business Development Manager Role
This is an office-based, phone-led Business Development role designed for a broker or advisor who wants to step out of client advice and into a commercially focused position within a lender.
You will work closely with field-based BDMs, using your understanding of
Bridging Finance
to engage brokers, uncover opportunities, generate enquiries and drive business volumes.
You'll be the first point of contact for brokers, building rapport quickly, spotting where deals can be placed, and converting conversations into live applications.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and maintain strong broker relationships via phone and email
* Use your bridging experience to identify, qualify and convert opportunities
* Support field-based BDMs to achieve regional and national lending targets
* Proactively originate new enquiries and convert them into applications
* Qualify leads, issue terms and manage deals through the pipeline to completion
* Keep accurate CRM records and ensure all activity is logged
* Provide market insight and feedback to support wider sales strategy

Skills and Experience Required
