LOUISE BRADLEY Design Studio is a busy, London-based, internationally recognised, and highly regarded Interior Design and Interior Architecture practice, providing turn-key services to discerning Clients in the luxury residential market. Projects range in size and complexity and are located across the world.
We are currently recruiting a Head of Design & Project Operations who will report directly into the Creative Director and Founder. The right candidate will be responsible for the seamless delivery of Design Projects worldwide alongside the strategic running of the Design Studio. This is a real opportunity for an experienced professional looking for their next role within the interior design industry.
You have previous experience as a Head of Design / Project Operations or Associate Designer, working with large teams on a variety of high-end projects.
You are a strategic thinker, focused on seamless and timely delivery of design projects.
You are accountable for quality control for all outputs from the design team, managing the creative process along the way.
You will be responsible for the delivery of each project, meeting deadlines, and budgets at every stage.
You perform well in a team environment and foster communication and cohesion between internal teams and functions.
You are skilled at working across different software packages, including Vectorworks, Adobe Suite, productivity platforms, project management & budgeting tools.
You will embrace the role of brand champion, helping to establish and uphold brand guidelines both internally and externally, to ensure consistency at each step of the Client journey.
Key Requirements
Min 5 years’ significant experience in an Associate or Head of Design role within a fast-paced Interior Architecture and Interior Design Studio.
Detailed understanding of design project management and team management.
Thorough understanding of FF&E and all relevant processes.
A track record of delivering multiple projects simultaneously in line with the client brief and budgets.
Detailed knowledge of project finance management and commercially astute.
Skilled at delivering resource management including recruiting and onboarding team members to support growing capabilities.
An excellent communicator, proactive and a team player that can work well with diverse teams.
Strong emotional intelligence and appreciation of the importance of mentoring within an organisation.
Passionate about delivering excellence and representing the Louise Bradley brand.
Well-presented and client facing.
RIBA qualification desirable but not essential.
