Role Overview
The Level 2 Teaching Assistant will work under the direction of the class teacher to support the physical and general care of individuals and groups of children. The role involves assisting with learning activities, managing pupil behaviour, and contributing to a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Support pupils in accessing the curriculum and participating in learning activities.
* Assist with the physical and general care of pupils, including those with additional needs.
* Help manage classroom behaviour and encourage positive interactions.
* Prepare and organise learning materials as directed by the teacher.
* Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and behaviour.
* Supervise pupils during break times, school trips, and other activities.

Essential Requirements
* Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
* Experience working with children in an educational setting.
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
* Legal right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
