This role would suit candidates currently working as Senior Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical Design Engineer, Lead Mechanical Engineer, Principal Mechanical Engineer, Project Engineer, Mechanical Systems Engineer, Plant Engineer, Mechanical Consultant, Mechanical Project Lead, or Mechanical Handling Engineer.
Your duties and responsibilities will be
* Lead and deliver technical studies and engineering projects across various stages.
* Develop mechanical designs from concept through to detailed design, construction, and commissioning.
* Produce and review key deliverables such as technical notes, substantiation reports, flow diagrams, P&IDs, and layout drawings.
* Provide expertise in mechanical handling systems, powder processing, and dismantling technologies within high-hazard environments.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure technical integrity and compliance.
You will have the following qualifications and experience
* Proven experience in mechanical engineering within highly regulated industries.
* Strong background in design, analysis, and documentation for complex mechanical systems.
* Familiarity with mechanical handling, process systems, or high-integrity equipment.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables to tight deadlines.
* Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, with chartership desirable.
