We're looking for a Project Manager to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks Team on the Severn Trent Water Framework, working from a major site at Wanlip. In this role, you'll focus on Instrumentation, Control, and Automation (ICA) Operations.
Contract: Permanent - Full Time – flexible and part-time hours may be available if desired, just let us know.
Responsibilities
As Project Manager, you'll supervise projects and the workforce at a large Severn Trent wastewater treatment works site at Wanlip in Leicestershire. You'll work on capital projects within the water industry, focusing on upgrades and resilience of wastewater treatment sites, delivering both Design and Build on a circa £150m project. You'll be responsible for time, cost, quality, safety, and specifically managing ICA packages of work.
Your day-to-day tasks include:
* Leading the Instrumentation, Control, and Automation (ICA) Operations within the Wanlip WwTW Projects and helping recruit a team of ICA engineers.
* Managing the programme of works both upstream (Client) and downstream (Sub-Contract), as well as managing HSES on site and ensuring Kier Processes are followed regarding ICA installation.
* Assisting with design review processes and client-facing meetings (Engineering Manager will lead).
* Managing procurement and delivery of all ICA packages.
* Reviewing and approving scope of works for each ICA package and assisting with tender inquiries to contract award of sub-contract packages.
What are we looking for?
This role is ideal if you have:
* Proven management experience, preferably in the water and wastewater industry.
* HNC or higher in Civil Engineering and hold SMSTS and CSCS certifications.
* Relevant Civil Engineering experience in non-infrastructure and M&E works.
