Role: D365 Business Central Consultant (Warehouse & Supply Chain)
Location: Near Oxford – 2 days onsite per week, remainder remote
Contract: 3 months, Outside IR35 (extension likely for Phase 2)
We’re working with a client who has just gone live with D365 Business Central. As is often the case, there are a few teething issues, and they’re looking for someone who can step in to steady things and get the system running as it should.
This is a hybrid role – part functional, part technical. You’ll need to be able to sit with the business to understand requirements and challenges, then dive into the system to troubleshoot and resolve issues. The key focus is on Warehouse and Supply Chain, so deep experience in those areas is essential.
What you’ll be doing
* Working with users to understand issues and gather requirements.
* Diagnosing and resolving problems within BC post go-live.
* Using your warehouse and supply chain knowledge to improve processes.
* Configuring/tweaking BC to ensure it aligns with the business needs.
* Acting as the go-to person for warehouse/supply chain functionality.
* Supporting the business to feel confident in using their system.
What we’re looking for
* Solid experience as a D365 BC consultant (functional or techno-functional).
* Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management and Supply Chain modules.
* Hands-on experience with post go-live support and troubleshooting.
* Confident communicator, able to work well with end users.
* Proactive and solution-focused – someone who can both advise and deliver.
