Job Title: Consumer Director Location: London [hybrid, 3 days per week in office]
Salary: £90-105k + competitive benefits package
We're looking for a Consumer Director to join an agency that’s on a real winning streak: multiple award nominations, exciting new business wins and interesting, integrated work.
An integrated PR and communications agency. They sit as the PR offering (and a separate agency) of a wider integrated group that offer services across advertising, media buying, digital, etc which means that their campaigns are truly integrated across numerous earned media channels, influencer marketing and social.
~ Multi sector offering: the agency has teams across Consumer, Corporate, Social Purpose, Digital/Influencer, Creative and Strategy. Many of the accounts are cross sector/discipline.
~ Clients are all blue chip, household name brands across lifestyle, entertainment, food and drink, FMCG and retail, with brands similar to Subway, B & Q, Krispy Kreme, Metro Bank
~ Size wise, the agency is around 50 with a close knit, collaborative culture and a competitive benefits package which includes health insurance, life assurance, medical insurance, income protection,. As a large part of the work is amplifying brand partnerships, including those within motorsports – sponsorship activation (particularly in sport) would be desirable.
The remaining portfolio is UK focused, across a mix of brands in retail, FMCG, food & drink; We’re looking for someone who has experience of working in an integrated, cross agency environment, where account teams can be made up of a mix of experts across PR, planning, creative, digital and more.
Experienced in working with big brand names - able to talk the language of clients, whether they be brand managers, comms leads and social leads
Demonstrable campaign experience in a cross-agency environment delivering ambitious campaign activations, to a high level of quality and creativity
You will understand the way they work and be able to unlock opportunities to grow revenue through up or cross selling services that align to clients’ strategies
Successful in autonomously leading and winning new business and building organic income from clients
Solid understanding of the earned media landscape - from strategic media relations, news generation, as well as the social and influencer landscape and know how to exploit these channels for your clients (an understanding of global nuances / toolkit approaches etc would be desirable)
Financial management – Ensuring correct financial management of client budgets and that your team delivers against the agency’s own profitability targets.
