Role Purpose:
To be responsible for the Maintenance, repair, and on-going technical support of customers' site
1. ASRS solutions (Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems) & ancillary equipment
2. Pallet & Tote conveyors and associated control equipment
3. Automatic doors and associated controls
4. Safety & security systems associated with Automated equipment
5. Smooth operation and monitoring of complete system
6. Providing constructive feedback on operation and potential improvements
7. Champion Health, Safety & Environmental standards of both Jungheinrich and customers sites, ensuring at all times an approach of safety first is adopted.
Role Responsabilities:
8. Proactively complete tasks and self-manage
9. Responsible for spare parts stock control
10. Responsible for identifying equipment reliability and areas that can be improved.
11. To undertake repairs in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations and industry standard practices
12. To comply with Health & Safety legislation at all times
13. To accurately record all work undertaken
14. To represent the company in a professional manner at all times and maintain customer relations
15. To adhere to the Quality processes and procedures as set out by the company
16. Communicate effectively with Line Managers
17. Any other duties which reasonably correspond to the general character of this role
18. Provide 24 / call out cover (only if site not working 24/7) as part of call out rota
19. Hands on ownership of issues to achieve a quick time resolution
20. Maintain company tools, manuals, and all other company property in good and clean order
21. Deputise for Site Manager, if required
22. Prepare and participate in the creation of method statements and risk assessments
Role Requirements (Essential):
23. Proven background in the maintenance and repair of automated / semi-automated intra logistic systems
24. Strong background in Engineering
25. A working understanding of Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic technical manuals & drawings
26. A knowledge of PLC equipment & related software
27. Excellent PC literacy
28. Excellent communication skills
29. Health and Safety experience
