The successful candidate will be aged years old and will work towards SVQ3 Level 3 Social Services (Children and Young People). The apprenticeship will last approximately months. This is a full-time position, with hours of work from Monday to Friday with possible shift patterns between 8.00am - 5.45pm.
Essential:
You must be an enthusiastic, friendly individual with a genuine interest in developing a career in childcare.
You must hold 3 National Standards Awards - one of which must be English.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and implementation of daily activities for children in the nursery
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and play
- Support children's physical, emotional, and social development
- Collaborate with other nursery practitioners to create engaging and age-appropriate learning experiences
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding their child's day
* Assist in the daily cleaning of the nursery environment.
Experience:
- Previous experience working with young children is preferred but not required
- Ability to engage and interact positively with children
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
