Overview
Join Nurseplus as a Homecare Assistant – Community Care Worker. You’ll provide outstanding, compassionate care directly in clients’ homes, supporting individuals with learning disabilities, complex care needs, mental health conditions, dementia, or elderly clients, and helping them live independently with dignity.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Homecare Assistant, your role is vital to improving the quality of life of those you support. You’ll provide personal care, assist with nutritional needs, administer medication, and offer companionship – ensuring clients feel valued and cared for in their own homes. All care is delivered in accordance with each client’s individual care plan, tailored to their needs.
Responsibilities
* Provide personal care and assistance with daily activities in clients’ homes
* Support clients with nutrition and hydration needs
* Administer medication as required and per care plans
* Offer companionship and emotional support
* Follow individual care plans and document care activities
What We’re Looking For
* You must be over 18 years old and have the right to work in the UK.
* A full UK driving licence is essential, and travel expenses are covered up to 45p per mile.
* Strong communication skills and a good standard of English are required.
* An enhanced DBS check is required (applications can be started upon registration).
