About the Opportunity
Flame Health Audiology is recruiting on behalf of a respected independent hearing care provider that is seeking a Hearing Care Manager to lead its established branch in Chippenham, Wiltshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced retail, healthcare or practice management professional looking to take ownership of a growing business unit. The role would suit someone who enjoys working directly with customers, supporting clinic activity, managing people and contributing to business growth.
The practice operates from a smaller branch environment consisting of a reception and retail area, consultation room and staff facilities. As a result, the successful candidate will need to be adaptable, hands‑on and comfortable supporting all aspects of the day‑to‑day operation.
The Role
The Hearing Care Manager will oversee the daily running of the branch while working closely with clinicians, customers and the wider business to ensure the highest standards of service and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing the day‑to‑day operation of the branch
* Coordinating and scheduling hearing care clinics
* Supporting customer enquiries and appointments
* Driving branch performance and business growth
* Leading, motivating and developing team members
* Ensuring excellent customer service standards
* Managing branch administration and operational processes
* Supporting local business development initiatives
* Creating a welcoming and professional environment for customers
Candidate Requirements
* Previous management or supervisory experience essential
* Strong customer service and people management skills
* Experience within retail, healthcare or practice management environments
* Highly organised with excellent communication skills
* Comfortable working in a hands‑on operational role
* Commercially aware with the ability to support business growth
* Adaptable and willing to support all areas of the branch
* Experience arranging appointments or clinics would be advantageous
