Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Nottingham for a Utility Surveyor. The Utility Surveyor will be responsible for conducting utility surveys, utilizing surveying equipment and technologies to gather data critical for infrastructure projects. Key responsibilities include interpreting survey data, working closely with project teams, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and delivering accurate survey outputs. While based primarily in Nottingham, there is flexibility to work remotely part-time within this role.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in utility surveying, including knowledge of survey technologies, techniques, and data collection methods.
* Strong skills in interpreting survey data and presenting findings both verbally and through written reports.
* Familiarity with health and safety practices relevant to fieldwork and utility surveying activities.
* Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and work within project timelines.
* Effective communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
* Relevant professional certifications or training in surveying or geospatial analysis is a plus.
* Proficiency in utilising surveying software and tools for accurate data analysis and reporting.
* A valid UK driving license is required for travel to field sites within the UK.
