Full time ASD & SLD Support Barnsley (Term time only) Are you passionate about making a real difference? We are looking for experienced ASD & SLD support staff to join special schools in the Barnsley area. Requirements: Valid experience supporting pupils with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) in a school or specialist setting Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies, communication techniques, and personal care needs specific to ASD and SLD pupils Ability to implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and support EHCP targets effectively Experience working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team, including teachers, therapists, and families Child and Adult Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service (mandatory) Relevant qualifications such as Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent are preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and staff confidently Available full time, term-time only What we offer: Competitive pay rates from £98 to £108 per day (AWR compliant) On-the-job training provided by the school to support your development 24/7 support and feedback from our experienced education consultants We intelligently match our supply and permanent candidates to schools, ensuring the roles stretch and fulfil your career ambitions.
